Cooper Farm Champions
Cooper Farm is delighted that BLACK JACK has earned his AKC Certificate as a Champion in September of 2005 after only 7 Shows! Black Jack was 16 months old in September when he became a Champion. Black Jack will now be competing as a SPECIAL where we hope to see him in the top 20 soon.
The Mastiff Breed
The Mastiff is a large, massive, symmetrical dog with a well-knit frame. The impression is one of grandeur and dignity. Dogs are more massive throughout. Bitches should not be faulted for being somewhat smaller in all dimensions while maintaining a proportionally powerful structure. A good evaluation considers positive qualities of type and soundness with equal weight. See the official Conformation Standard here.
About Cooper Farm
Cooper Farm is nestled in the serene Kentucky hills between Louisville and Lexington just off I-64. Our AKC Registered English Mastiffs are raised in a family environment where they play with our grandchildren and roam the farm as they please. Cooper Farm doesn't 'mass produce' puppies, we carefully breed from great bloodlines and only have a few litters each year. We raise our dogs as family pets so each has an excellent disposition. It is the combination of a peaceful environment and attention to detail in our breeding that makes our dogs both excellent show dogs and fine family pets. Mastiffs are truly the gentle giants of the dog world.
We provide stud service and Mastiff puppies when available. Give us a call or an e-mail and we'd be happy to set up a visit to the farm where you can meet the dogs and maybe take home a Mastiff puppy who will be a great family friend and companion.
